ÔKSQIN

REAL-LIFE
TREEHUGGERS

&

A FETISH
FOR NATURE

Human. Nature. Mother. Air we breathe.

Water we drink. Food we eat.

People we love. Connect with.

Woman or man. Or neither. Or both.

Young. Old. Short. Tall. Black. White.

Who cares. Honesty is key.

To life and to a better now.

A better now. Yeah, that’s it.

Preparing for a better tomorrow.

Today. Feeling ÔK.

In your own skin.

That’s ÔKSQIN.

- A label born in Europe, designed in Belgium and hand-stitched in Portugal from high quality ecological cork. -

More than just accessories, ÔKSQIN aims to create objects and opportunities that improve and enrich life. Cork comes from the bark of a special variety of oak tree growing mostly in south-western Europe. It is the national symbol of Portugal, most important producer of this material in the world. So it’s no coincidence that our founding daddy was born there and his surname translates into “OAK”.

Some things are just meant to be...

Sustainable, the harvesting of cork leaves trees unharmed and able to continue growing for the rest of their 250-year life cycle. The trees that have their bark removed absorb about 5 times more CO2 from the atmosphere, helping out clean polluted air for many generations.

For our first series of objects, we are introducing five bags, in five shapes and 2 colour-ways.Something that travels with you, something that encases your most prized possessions. Inspired by a person who moves with ease from the busy streets to the untamed wilds. And you know, no bag is the same, just like no tree is the same, just like no person is the same.

Did we mention the dyes are all natural?

We are committed to support initiatives and actively participate in game-changing programs for the benefit of us all.Because above all, ÔKSQIN is about a humanist approach to design and improving our relationship to the world around us by crafting objects and opportunities that last or leave a lasting impression. Not a lasting environmental footprint.
